- Raise the pot. - Rob Yong, who's been quiet for a little bit here which has been a rare for Rob in the last few episodes, raised up to $1000 to his queen jack suited. - Come on, Jason https://www.casinoslots.co.nz/.
- I'll match it, I'll match it. Folds back around to Jason, makes a bit of a loose call and we're taking a flop. 10, six, five. - 2000. Yong pops a flush draw. J. Koon pops a back door flush draw. - Alright, fuck it. Let's go for it. - He's reaching for chips and he's firing 8000 to go here and back to Yong with his flush draw. Now, look we all know Yong is going nowhere. The question is does he call or does he not think Jason has anything and goes the distance here on the flop. He decides to call, which is a decision I would definitely prefer. - Guess, I'm good. - And looks to play some post flop. Now on the flop, Yong only had two over cards as well as a flush draw. But now, he's got an open ender to the nuts on both sides, a flush draw and a queen or a jack will give him a strong pair. He's got the whole world , the whole world in his hand. - Check. - Check, check though. - Check. - Such a hand I had here. - Straight, oh. - How does this hand win? - And despite all odds, Jason Koon who will take this one down for a small win. - How does that hand? How does that hand then? (laughter) - That is so sick, that is so sick. - I'm trying to work out I'm trying to work out how you can win. - None of this play is Polk approved. Did I mention I'm available for coaching? Back with more after this. - Welcome back to the playground poker club in Montréal, where we've seen more punting than the crowd and a Cleveland Browns game. 98 off suit into the muck. Chartier a has been tightening it up lately. Might be because he's down, but it's probably because he's been getting terrible cards. - Guaranteed raise here. - J. Koon raising up on the button to 300 with his king nine spades. - 1000. - Raise to 1000. Yong having none of it. Three betting him again. This time with king jack. - I like you, man. - Twice in a row, he's three bet him and had him dominated. Six, tre, deuce, two spades and J. Koon flops a flush draw. - It's gonna be hard for Yong to take this one away from him, even though currently they're a flip to win. - This is your kind of board, though. - The five of spades will complete the flush for J. Koon, but Yong with no spade but one big heart will fire the turn, to the tune of $5000. He makes the call and we get a brick river. Now, if Yong fires here that money is never coming home. - Bet 13,000. J. Koon loses to only one hand. Raise it up on the river. J. Koon getting a quick rally here, despite losing a big pot out of the gate. Ace jack here for Elliot Smith. - Okay, stay clean. - Raise 400. - Duthie makes the call on the button with the king jack suited. J. Koon calls and the small one with ace, seven of clubs - (speaking French) - The price of poker has gone up and the action's back over to Elliott Smith. Smith lets it go. Duthie lets it go. - See a trend here? - But J. Koon's having none of it.

- From Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec, this is Poker Night in America. (upbeat music) What's up guys and welcome to Poker Night Presents Party Poker Live at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal. Tonight, Jason Koon joins the action and Samuel Chartier will look to put a tourniquet on his bleeding stack. - Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, I did.
- Blinds for this hand will be 50/100. Duthie comes in raising with the ace, three suited from early position. Jason Koon, welcome to the table man, looking down an ace, king, gonna three bet it. (poker players chattering) Back over to Duthie, suited ace, could call, could fore bet. He's gonna take a flop. - Yeah I think so. That's what I said. - Where is that tournament? When? - 10,3 huge flop for John Duthie. Now, he would probably wish his opponent had aces and kings, not ace king. But it's all gonna be quite tough for Jason Koon to not lose a sizable amount of money here. The main question for Duthie, trap out of position or go for the raise. Personally, on a board like this, I think he should just call and give Koon a chance to barrel on later streets. Duthie elects to go for the slow play. - Heads up. - The turn comes the six of diamonds and Duthie checks again over to last year's winner of the Seminole Hard Rock poker open championship. Jason Koon, this is a board that's tough for his opponent to have too much. The only sets he has to be worried about are 1010 or 66, and his opponent mainly is going to have hands like flush draws, a 10, or lower pairs. Now here on the turn, Duthie once again facing a bet decides to go for the slow play. He wants to trap his opponent. He absolutely will value bet some very strong hands like aces or kings or queens, and also, if he has ace king, and hits, oh I don't know, let's say a king he might bet that over some value. - I would guess that the average is, - However, Duthie has other plans. (players chattering) I'm not a huge fan of betting here. If Jason Koon hit this card, he's gonna bet himself, and if he was bluffing, now it'll give him a chance to bluff. Very tough spot here for J. Koon. But really no way around it. Top pair, top kicker. You got there on the river. Sometimes, you just have to see what they've got. - All in. - All in. - All in. J. Koon actually decides he's gonna play for all of it. I was not expecting this at all. This is quite thin, to say the least. When Duthie bets this river, he's saying he has a hand sort of like king 10. Or maybe some kind of boat that wanted to make sure he got a value. Or possibly trips. He's not really saying he has a king. So this seems way too thin on the river. - Yes that one's gonna work. - That'll do. - It was three but then check all, check all right? - Just explain to me what was going through your mind when you were counting you your chips. - Shut up. - Poker Night is brought to you by Kimo Sabe Mezcal. Queen out of clubs here for J. Koon. Fresh off of losing that ace king hand. Looking to make things happen, and turn the tide in his favor. - Thank you very much. - I love this by the way, the table talk, the... - The speech, I like you, you're my friend. - Another raise! - Oh look, he's quiet now. This is the first time he's stopped talking. - [Doug] Antonio makes the call.
Yong needs a king or a seven. That is not a king or a seven. Antonio improves to a full house. But, Yong is saying he has a ten. - I bet you're right. (Roberts laughs) So he wants to continue to sell the story, fire two more streets, maybe gets Antonio off of it, but honestly, I just can't see that happening. - [Dealer] Check. - [Doug] Yong checks back. Jack river. Now Antonio knows Yong is weak. If he had a strong hand, he'd bet the turn. So the question is, how can he make the most money? Is he gonna check and let Yong have one last shot to try and fire? Looks like that might work out. - [Dealer] That's 50,000. - The plot thickens, ladies and gentlemen. The plot thickens. It's not often I lay down full houses. - I am starting to like you, though. - It's not often I lay down two, I mean it's like you're making it so obvious that you have it, that it's starting to make me think that you don't have it. (Trickett chuckles) You know? - [Doug] This is almost three times the pot bet. He's saying he has a ten, and now Antonio is put into a terrible situation. But at the end of the day, he does have a full house. And Antonio does not like the fold button. Antonio throws the chips at his opponent! But is good, so those are coming right back. And that, my friends, was an over 100,000 dollar pot. - Wow. - [Safieddine] You were gonna look like a hero, or like a dingdong. - A hero, or a zero. - You were fifty fifty. Alright, that's it for tonight. But before we go, as always, the chip counts. After play so far, we see Antonio up a cool 50,000. Sam Trickett getting buried down 133,000. And Lauren Roberts with a surprising 100K win so far. We're gonna have to see if that holds up. (chill guitar) Next time, on Poker Night Presents: Party Poker Live at Playground Poker Club, Antonio Esfandiari likes to use all his time, Ouri Ohayon uses none of his time, and Francois Safieddine flops quads for a royal flush draw.
